If qualified, the visa is approved within 1 month. Spouses and children can apply as dependents under the same visa.
Thailand Privilege Visa
The Thailand Elite Visa is a long-term privilege visa offering stays from 5 to 20 years with VIP benefits, ideal for frequent travelers, retirees, and remote professionals looking for hassle-free residency in Thailand. Anyone who meets the financial requirements and passes a background check can apply and choose one of the following packages:
Gold Package
5-year visa – 900,000 THB (single applicant).
Platinum Package
10-year visa – 1,500,000 THB (includes family options by paying another 1,000,000 per each dependent).
Diamond Package
15-year visa – 2,500,000 THB (includes family options by paying another 1,500,000 per each dependent).
Reserve Package
20-year visa – 5,000,000 THB, upon official invitation
Bronze Package
5-year visa – 650,000 THB (single applicant). Promotional package valid unti June 2025

Arriving At the Immigration Office Completely Underdressed
I engaged Boyd to assist me in obtaining my LTR visa. Initially, I considered going through the application process on my own, but I didn’t want to take any chances. Since the agency fee is due only after the visa has been approved, I decided that engaging Boyd was the safer option, and I have not regretted my decision. Boyd has proven to be extremely professional, responsive and clear in guiding me through the entire application process. Any upcoming issues were addressed promptly and to my fullest satisfaction.
Also, his colleague, who assisted me on the day of the visa issuance in Bangkok, was incredibly helpful. It turned out that I arrived at the Immigration Office completely underdressed, and she did not hesitate to take me on an ad hoc shopping tour through Bangkok. We returned two hours late for our appointment, but adequately dressed. She had made sure that I could still pick up the visa right after our return – despite the delay. She also demonstrated great patience and empathy during our shopping tour and turned out to be an excellent fashion advisor. Top Caliber Service Delivery
As I reside in BKK I was hesitant as they’re based in Chiang Mai—my doubts & concerns, indeed, were misguided.
Though the entire application process with the BoI is cumbersome (IMHO that organization is behind-the-times & naive about certain, very common financial practices outside of TH), this was the right decision to guide me through the process—to a successful conclusion.
I can’t imagine now, trying to navigate the bureaucratic process & deal directly with any BoI follow-up queries on my own—this is a specialist firm & it was well worth paying for their experience, knowledge & network.
